Essential Primer
Walttools Essential Epoxy is a 100 percent epoxy system used as a base coat before decorative coatings such as Epoxy, Aliphatic Urethane, and Polyaspartic. It is designed with excellent leveling properties to provide a tenacious bond to both the substrate and the topcoat lessening the chance of bond failures common with such coatings. It will withstand moisture vapor issues that other coatings will not do alone.

We have used this on a few projects now. It spread and penetrated better than any primer we have used. It is not especially fast so it is not ready to apply your next coat until the following day so that is the only downfall we need to account for.
We called and talked to an informative person at this place to give us an overview of doing our garage floor. We had a friend with a grinder to clean up the top and then we were on our own. This review involves a few products. The Essential Primer, the Epoxy HP, Gray tint RZ and the Acrithane. The good news, it all worked great. The bad news, we have neighbors who want it now. It really was an easy process if you don’t panic. All the products did what we expected after we talked to them in detail. The Acrithane dried faster than we expected so it left lines. We just did another coat and it took care of it. Just be sure you have a few days in a row to do this type of project because it needs to be done in consecutive stages/days to work properly.
I bought this small kit of primer to seal an old concrete wash basin. It is so easy to keep clean now. 5 stars
